First Appointment
Conversation, medical history and examination (3D X-ray if needed) – planning comes first, treatment follows. A purely informational conversation without an examination is free of charge; examination and treatment and cost plan are billed according to the GOZ (the German scale of dental fees).
Costs
Before every treatment, you receive a written treatment and cost plan showing your own contribution; patients with statutory and private health insurance are treated equally.

Implant treatment touches on questions of prophylaxis and gum health; root canal treatment can determine whether a tooth is preserved or has to be replaced; caring for anxious patients runs through every area as an underlying attitude. Behind the Zahnkompetenzzentrum is a practice team that has grown together over the years and sees itself as one unit. Dr. Strößner holds the academic degree of Master of Science (M.Sc.), specialising in oral implantology and periodontology – a part-time postgraduate degree spanning several years that goes well beyond standard university training. This professional depth is the foundation on which the entire centre works.
We believe that modern dentistry must achieve two things at once: the utmost professional care and genuine human warmth. One is inconceivable without the other. At the Zahnkompetenzzentrum Dr. Strößner, we rely on contemporary equipment that combines diagnostic accuracy with treatment comfort – always with the aim of making procedures as precise and as gentle as possible.
Good treatment begins with a good diagnosis. Modern imaging techniques reveal structures that cannot be seen with the naked eye and form the basis for forward-looking planning. In implantology in particular, careful three-dimensional planning makes it possible to think through procedures in advance and tailor them to individual anatomy. Digital workflows also help to document treatment steps and present them in a way that is easy for patients to understand.
In our treatment area, we combine established procedures with modern instruments. Hygiene takes on great importance here: reprocessing instruments, surface disinfection and structured hygiene procedures are a fixed part of our everyday practice and follow the applicable requirements. Location & Costs
The Zahnkompetenzzentrum Dr. Strößner is located at Leopold-Kell-Straße 25, 06667 Weißenfels, in southern Saxony-Anhalt. Weißenfels has excellent transport links within the Burgenlandkreis, situated between Halle, Leipzig and Naumburg. For this reason, patients come to us not only from the town itself, but from the entire surrounding area – from the Burgenlandkreis as well as from the wider Halle/Leipzig region.
Our location in Weißenfels makes us a regional point of contact for demanding dentistry. For many people from the surrounding towns, it is an advantage to have a competence centre with a broad range of services nearby, rather than having to travel to larger cities for different treatments. We are happy to discuss the route and accessibility with you by phone.
We talk openly about money – and we do so before treatment begins. We are convinced that a good decision is only possible once the financial side is also clear. For more extensive treatment, you will therefore receive a written treatment and cost plan that sets out the individual items in a clear, comprehensible way. This means you know what to expect and can submit the plan to your statutory or private health insurer.
Which costs are covered by statutory health insurance, and which portions have to be paid privately, depends heavily on the particular treatment. Many basic services are covered by statutory insurance; higher-value restorations or certain procedures go beyond the statutory insurers' scope of cover and are billed privately. We explain these differences calmly and without any pressure.
Statutory health insurers cover many basic dental services as well as fixed subsidies based on the diagnosis, for example for dental prosthetics; a dental bonus booklet (Bonusheft) kept up to date without gaps can increase these subsidies. Higher-value treatment, aesthetic services, or certain modern methods often go beyond the statutory scale of benefits and are billed privately. Privately insured patients receive different levels of reimbursement depending on their tariff. For more extensive treatment, we issue you with a transparent treatment and cost plan in advance, which you can review at your own pace and submit to your health insurer. In many cases, several areas of expertise are needed to achieve an optimal result: a periodontologist assesses the gums before an implantologist plans the treatment, a prophylaxis specialist looks after preparation and aftercare, and a dentist with a focus on paediatric dentistry coordinates with orthodontics. With us, all of this happens without anything being lost between hand-offs.
